ORDINANCE 8702
An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 8413 of the City of Eugene, entitled:
"An Ordinance to create or divide the City into Districts within
some of which it shall be lawful, and within others of which it
shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain
buildings, or to carryon certain trades or callings, or within
which the height and bulk of future buildings shall be limited
and providing for setbaok lines, and providing for a penalty
for the violation thereof."

passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor, April
9, 1935.
WHEREAS, under the direction of the Common Council of the City of Eugene
and have adopted the tentative report as their final and permanent report and
the Planning Commission has prepared a tentative report and held hearings thereon i[

transmitted the same to the City Council with the recommendation thet the same
be enacted into an ordinance,
Now, Therefore,
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 8413 entitled:
"An Ordinance to create or divide the City into Districts within
some of which it shall be lawful, and within others of which it
shall be unalwful to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain
buildings, or to carryon certain trades or callings, or within
which the height and bulk of future buildings shall be limited
and providing for setback lines, and providing for a penalty
for the violation thereof."

passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor, April 9,
1935, be and the same is hereby amended so as to reclassify certain areas in the
following particulars:
That the classification of:
80 x 80 feet at the Southwest corner of
Seventh and Washington Streets, in Eugene,
Lane County, Oregon;
Lot 5, Block 5, C4eshire's Addition to
Eugene, Lane County, Oregon;
be and the same are hereby ohanged from a multiple family residence district to
a busmness district.
Section 2. That the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to cause
the map attached to Ordinance No. 8413 to show the foregoing changes in classi-
fication of areas and to note thereon the rule with respect to buildings in
multiple family residence zones.
