An ordinance amending Ordinance Tvo. 8413 of the City of Eugene, entitled:
"An Ordinance to create or• divide the City into Districts within some of
which it shall be lawful, and within others of which it shall be unlawful
to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain buildings, or to carry on
certain trades or callings, or within vahich the height, and bulk of future
buildings shall be limited, and providing for set-back lines, and providing
for a penalty for the violation thereof."
passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the Tyaayor April 9,1935.
if~HE~~:EAS, under the direction of the Common Council of the City of Eugene, the
City Planning Commission has prepared a tentative report and held hearings thereon
and have adopted the tentative report as their final report and transmitted the
same to the City Council with recommendation that ttie same be enacted into an

Section 1. That Ordinance No. 8413 entitled:

certain trades or ca llings, or within which the height and bulk of future
buildings shall be limited, and providing for set-back lines, and providing
for a penalty for the violation thereof."

be and the same is hereby amended so as to reclassify a-certain area in the
following particulars:
That the classification of the following area:
Beginning 320 feet South and 331.5 feet ti'.est of the hortheast corner of
Claim 54, Township 1'7, South of Fange 3 ~~est of the titiillamette Meridian,
which said point is the Northeast corner of the intersection of R~adison
Street and nth Avenue Vuest in the City of Eugene, run thence North along
the East line of I'~~~adison Street 145 feet to the alley between 8th Avenue
T~`~est and 9th Avenue j,}iest, thence East 82 feet, thence South 55 feet, thence
V':est 2 feet, thence South 9O feet, and Z`~est along the T~;orth line of 9th
Avenue t~~est 80 feet to the place of beginning.
be and the same is hereby changed from a single family residence district to a
multiple family residence district.
Section 2. That the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to cause the
map attached to Ordinance No. 8413 to show the foregoing changes in classification
of areas and to note thereon the rule with respect to buildings in single family
residence zones.
