HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE NO. 88053t~5 ORDINANCE -8805 An ordinance amending Section 4 of Ordinance No. 8514 of the City of Eugene, passed by the Common Council June 14, 1937 and approved by the Mayor June 15, 1937, by adding the words "or electric diesel". THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS; ° Section 1. That See.tion 4 of Ordinance No. 8514 of the City of Eugene entitled "An Ordinance granting to Oregon Electric Railway Company, a corporation, its successors and assigns, the franchise to maintain its present railway tracks in the City of Eugene, and to operate trains and cars thereover, and to transport passenger, freight, mail, baggage and express thereon, and to maintain its present poles and wires in the City of Eugene, Oregon.", passed by the Common Council June 14, 1937 and approved by the Mayor June 15, 1937, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 4. The motive power employed for operating cars and locomotives upon such tracks- shall be electricity or electric-diesel."
