WHEREAS, under the direction of the•Common Council of the City of
Eugene the City Planning Commission has prepared a tentative report and held
hearings thereon and have adopted the tentative report as its final and per-
manent report and transmitted the same to the City Council with recommendation
that the same be enactedinto an ordinance.
Now, Therefore

Section 1. That Ordinance No: 8413 entitled

shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter or maintian certain
buildings, or to carry on certain trades or callings, or within
which the height and bulk of future buildings shall be limited,
and providing for setback lines, and providing for a penalty for
the violation thereof."
passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935 and approved by the Mayor April
9, 1935, be and the same is hereby amended that the following area, to-wits.
Block 1 t3uestmoreland Addition, and the north half of block 7 in
Chambers Addition; and lots 7, 8, 9, and 10 of block 6, Chambers
Addition: and the territory immediately opposite north of it,
being 211 feet on 11th street and 300 feet on Chambers Street
now cla~sifidd.~as single family residence, is hereby reclassified as a
business district.
Section 2. That the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to
cause the map attached to Ordinance No. 8413 to show the foregoing changes in
calssification of areas and to note thereon the rule with respect to building
therein.
