An Ordinance amending Section 13 of Ordinance No. 9413 of the City of Eugene,
entitled:
"An ordinanoe to oreate or divide the City into districts within some of which
it shall be lawful and within others of which it shall be unlawful to ereot,
oo~struct, alter or maintain certain building, or to carry on certain trades or
callings, or within the height and bulk; of future building shall be limited,
and providing for setback lines, and providing for a penalty for the violation
thereof."
Passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor April 9, 1935.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Eugene has made recommendations
to the Common Council that the following streets, to-wit: 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 11, and l3,th,
as extended or to be extended into the annexed territory, shall carry the same set baok lines
and oorrespond preoisely with the streets and set baok lines leading up to the annexed
territory,
Now, Therefore,
. THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Section 13 of Ordinance No. 8413 entitled:
"An ordinance to create or divide the City into distriots within some of whioh it
shall be lawful and within others of which it shall be unlawful to erect, construot,
alter or maintain oertain buildings, or to oarry on certain trades or callings, or
within whioh the height and bulk of future buildings shall be limited, and providing
for setback lines, and providing for a penalty for the violation thereof."

passed by the Common Counoil April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor April 9, 1935, be and
the same is hereby amended that the following streets, to-wit; 5th, 6th, 7th, eth, 11th, and
13th, as extended or to be extended into the annexed territory, shall carry the sarr,e set-
back lines and correspond precisely with the streets and setback lines leading up to the
annexed territory.
Section 2. That the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to cause the map
attached to Ordinance No. 8413 to show the foregoing change in set back lines and to make
any notations thereon necessary to properly explain the same.
Section 3. The annexed territory referred to is the territory annexed to the City
of Eugene at the election held on Deoember 20, 1944.
