ORDINANCE No. ss3o
An Ordinance regulating the speed of steam and electric locomotives and trains
operated by steam and electric locomotives within the City of Eugene.
THE CITY OF EIIGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLI;OWSs
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person having charge of any steam or
el~actric looomotive or having charge of any steam or electric locomotive operating
or propelling a train within the corporate limits of the City of Eugene to run or
operate such steam or electric locomotive or such train propelled or operated by such
steam or electric locomotive within said corporate limits of the City of Eugene at a
rate- of speed greater than thirty miles per hour.
Seotion 2. That Ordinance No. 1525 be and the same is hereby repealed.
Seotion 3. Any peron who shall violate Section l of this ordinance shall,
upon conviction thereof before the City Recorder, be fined not exceeding one hundred
0100.00) dollars, or imprisonment in the city 3ai1 not exceeding fifty (50) days.
