ORDINANCE NO.
An ordinance vacating the following described area, to-wits
That portion of Taylor street from Fourteenth Avenue North
to the property line of the SeventYr-Day Adventist School.
WHEREAS, heretofore and on the l~.th day of May, 1915 the Common Council of the
City of Eugene passed an~;Ordinance setting a hearing for the 9th day of Julyj 19i~5 in
the Council Chambers, at which time and place protests and remonstrances could be heard
as to the vacation of the following presmises, to-wits
That portion of Taylor street from Fourteenth Avenue North
to the property line of the Seventh-Day Adventist Sohool.
WE~REAS, a hearing was held pursuant to said ordinance in the Counail Chambers
in the City Hall in the City of Eugene on Monday, the 9th day of July, 19l~5 at 7:30
o'clock P.M. and at said time the Council heard all objections, and
WI~REAS, all persons owning property abutting upon said street proposed to be
vacated has consented to said vacation and have applied for said vacation, and the City
Planning Commission has consented to the vacation,
Now, Therefore,
TAE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Common Council of the City of Eugene finds that due and legal
notice of the said hearing was published and posted as required by laws that no valid
objection to said vacation has bee made at said hearing, or filed; that the consent of
the owners of the abutting property, properly acl~-owledged has been filed in said pro-
ceeding; and that the public interest will not be prejudiced by the vacation of said
area.
Seotion 2. That said hearing was held on July 9, 191}5 at 7:30 O'clock P.M. in the
Council Chambers of the City Hall in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, and no objections or
remonstrances were made or filed.
Seotion 3.. That the following described area, to-wit:
That portion of Taylor street from Fourteenth Avenue North
to the property line of the Seventh-Day Adventist School
be and the same is hereby vacated, and the.area so vacated, being a street, shall revert
to the abutting property pursuant to the statutes of the State of Oregon, reserving to the
City the right to enter, construct and maintain all sewers, water pipes and publio
utilities.

Section 1}. The rsoorder~and he is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this
ordinance with the County Clerk of Lane County, together with a map or plat of said
property, and that a certified copy of the ordinance shall be filed with the County
Assessor, and another certified copy of the ordinance shall be filed with the County
Surveyor.
