HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE NO. 88543 ~ '~ OFcDINA1~iCE N0. 8851 An Ordinance amending Ordinance No 8113 of the City of Eugene, entitled: ttAn Ordinance to create or divide the City into Districts :vithin some of which it shall be lawful, and within others of which it shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain buildings, or to carry on certain trades or call- ings, or within which the height and bulk of future buildings shall be limited, and providing for setback lines, and providing for a penalty for the 4iolation thereof. passed, by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor April 9, 1935« WHEREAS, under the direction of the Common Council of tha City of Eugene the City Planning Commission has prepared a tentative report and held hearings thereon and have adopted the tentative report as their final and permanent report and transmitted the same to the City Council with recommendation that the same be enacted into an Ordinance, Now, Therefore, THE CITY 0 F EUGENE ROES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That Ordinance No 8.13 entitled: "An Ordinance to. create or •divide the City-into Districts within some of which it shall - ~ -'be lawful and within others of which it shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain buildings, or carry on certain trades or callings, or within which the height and bulk of future buildings shall be limited, and providing for setback lines, and providing for a penalty for the violation thereof.n passed by the Common ;Coiu~.cil April 8, 1935, and approved by the Ma;~or April 9, 1935, be and the same is hereby amended that from Oak Street West to the alley 160. feet on 13th street and 80 feet South being Lot 1, Block 7, Christians Second Addition to Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, be and the same is hereby changed from a single family residential district to a business district. Section 2. That the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to cause the map attached to Ordinanoe No. 81{.13 to show the foregoing changes in classification of areas and to note thereon the rule with respect to buildings in single family residence zones.
