Blocks 13- 1!~- 17- 18- 23- 2I~- 27- 28- 33- 3!~- Driverton Addition. i+Yt~REAS, heretofore and on the 13th day of August, 1a1~5 the Common Council of the City of Eugene passed an Ordinance setting a hearing from OCTOBER 8, 1915, in the Council Chambers at which time and place protests and remonstrenees could be heard as to the vacation of the following premises, to-wit: High Street from I9th to 20th Avenue Plfill Street from 19th to 21}th Avenue Ferry Street from 19th to 2L~th Avenue 20th Avenue from Pearl to High Street The following streets to be vacated front the hest line of Driverton Addition to Patterson Street: Twentieth Avenue Twenty first Avenue Twenty second Avenue Twenty third Avenue Alleys to be vacated: Blocks 7 and 8, Teshners Addition Blocks 13- 11.x- 17- 18- 23- 2L4- 27- 28- 33- 31} Driverton Addition ~~3ERF,A3, a hearing was held pursuant to said Ordinance in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Euge ne on Monday, the 8th day of October, 191.5, at 7:30 O'clock P.M. and at said time the Council heard all objections, and WF~REAS, all persons owning property abutting upon said area have consented to said vacation. Now, Therefore, THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOVPSs Section 1. The Common Council of the City of Eugene finds that due and " legal notice of the said hearing was published and posted as required by law; that no valid objection to said vacation has been made at said hearing, or filed; that the consent of the owners of the abutting property, properly acknowledged, has been filed in said proceedings; aiid that the public interest will not be prejudiced by the vacation of said area. Section 2. That said hearing was held on OCTOBER 8th, 19>.~5 at 7;30 o'clock, P.Pd. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon., and no Aso objections or remonstrances were made or filed. aection 3. That the following described areas, to-wit: High Street from 19th to 20th ,>~venua Mill Street from lyth to 2~.th Avenue Ferry Street from 19th to 21~th Avenue 20th Avenue from Pearl to High Street -The following streets to be vacated from the West line of Driverton Addition to Patterson Street. Twentieth Avenue Twenty first Avenue Twenty second Avenue Twenty third Avenue Alleys to be vacated: Blocks 7 and 8, Teshners Addition Blocks 13- ].la.- 17- 18- 23- 2!~- 27- 28- 33- 31~ Driverton Addition. be and the same is hereby vacated, and the area so vacated, being streets or alleys, shall resort to the abutting property pursuant to the statutes of the State of Oregon., expressly reserving, however, to the City of Eugene, the right to enter upon said areas and maintain, repair and operate its public utilities. Section ~. The Recorder be~and he is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the County Clerk of Lane I;ounty, together with a map or plat of said p~~operty, and that a certified Dopy of the Ordinance shall be filed with the County Assessor, and another certified copy of the Ordinance shall be filed with the County Surveyor.
