ORDINANCE N0. 8891.
An Ordinance amending Ordinance No 81.x,3 of the City of Eugene, entitled:
"An Ordinance to create or divide the City into Districts within some
of which it shall be lawful, and within others of which it shall be
unlawful to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain buildings,
or to carry on certain trades or oallings, or within which the height
and bulk of future buildings shall be limited, and providing for set-
back lines, and providing for a penalty for the violation thereof."
passed by the Common Counoil April 8, ig35, and approved by the Mayor April 9,1935•
WHEREAS, under the direction of the Connnon council of the City of Eugene the
City Planning Commission has prepared a tentative report and held hearings thereon
and have adopted the tentative report. as their final and permanent report and trans-
witted the same to the City Council with recommendation that the same be enacted into
an ordinance.
Now, Therefore,
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Seotion 1. That Ordinance No. 81.13 entitleds
"An Ordinance to oreate or divide the City into Districts within some
of which it shall be lawful, and within others of which it shall be
unlawful to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain buildings,
or to carry on certain trades or callings, or within which the height
and bulk of future buildings shall be limited, and providing for set-

be and the same is hereby amended in the follwring particulars
That the Classification ofs

Lot 5, Blook 1, Snodgrass Addition at Willamette and 16th be and the same is
hereby changed from a single family to a business district.
That the Classification of;
The property commencing at a point on the East side of Villamette Street
169.5 feet south of th® South line of Thritesnth Avenue East running thence
South 58 feet, thence East 160 feet, thence North 58 feet, thenoe West r
- 160 feet to the place of beginning, (1335 Willamette)
be end the same is hereby changed from a multiple family residential to a business
district.
That the Classification of;
The south half of block 2, Westmoreland Addition to Eugene ~
be and the same is hereby changed from a single family to a business district.
That the Classification of:
Lot 8, Block 22, College Hill Park Addition /
be and the same is hereby changed from a multiple family to a single family residential
distriot.
Section 2. That the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to cause the
map attached to Ordinance No. 81.13 to show the foregoing changes in classification of
areas and to note thereon the rule with respect to buildings ir. single family residence
zones.
