An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. $1x.13 of the City of Eugene , entitled;

"An ordinance to create or divide the City into Districts
within some of whiah it shall be lawful, and within others
j of which it shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter or
maintain certain buildings, or carry on certain trades or
callings, or within which the height and bulk of future
buildings shall be limited, and providing for setback lines,
and providing for a penalty for the violation thereof."
passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor, April 9, 1935•
j WHEREAS, under the direction of the Common Council of the City of Eugene
the City Planning Commission has prepared a tentative report and held hearings
thereon and have adopted the tentative report as their final and permanent report
and transmitted the same to the City Council with recommendation that the same be

NOW, Therefore,
f THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLIA9dS::
Section 1. That Ordinanae No. SLa.3 entitled:
"An Ordin~.ce to create or divide the City into Districts

passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor April 9, 1935,
be and the same is hereby amended in the follovring particulars:
That the classification of:
Both sides of Willamette Street from 13th Street of 16th Street
be and the same is hereby changed from a single family residential district to a
business district.
That the classification of;
That property beginning at a point which is 160 feet North
' 66 and 3/!~ degrees West from another point which is 1089 feet
~ North and 885 feet West from the Southwest corner of Block
Three (3) Original Plat of Eugene City, Lane County, Oregon ,
'; and running thence South 23 and 1/1~ degrees West 100 feet,
thence South 66 and 31.4 degrees East 80 feet; .thence North
23 and 1/1.~ degrees East 100 feet; thence North 66 and 3/~
degrees West 80 feet to place of beginning,
be and•the same is hereby changed to a single family residential district.
That the classification of:
The property located on the Southeast corner of 17th and
Willamette Streets, being 110.5 feet on'9Pi11amette Street, i
312.0 feet on Seventeenth Street and 7.1x.0.5 feet on Oak
Street, more or less
be and the same is hereby changed to a business district.

That the classification of:
Lots 2, 3, ~. and 5, Block 4, and Lots 1 and 2, Block 5,
Sheltons First Addition, located on the West side of
Lincoln between 1st and 3rd Avenues,
be and the same is hereby changed from a single family residential district to a
light industrial district.
Section 2. That the City F.~igineer be and he is hereby directed to cause
the map attaohed to Ordinance No. $413 to show the foregoing changes in classificat-
ion of areas and to note thereon the rule with respect to buildings in single family
residence zones. '
