ORDINANCE N0. 8g14
An Ordinanoe amending Ordinan ce Tv o. 8413 of the City of gene, entitled:
"An Ordinance to create or divide the City into Districts within
some of which it shall be lawful, and within others of which it
shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain
buildings, or to carry on certain tru.des or callings, or within
which the height and bulk of future buildings shall be limited,
and providing for setback lines, and providing for a penalty for the
violation thereof."
passed by the Common Council April 8, 1835, and approved by the Mayor, April ;', 1g35.
WfR;REAS, under the direction of the cCormion Council of the City of Eugene the
j City Planning Commission has prepared a tentative report and held hearings thereon and
have adopted the tentative report as their final and permanent report and transmitted
the same to the City Council with reconunendation that the:same be enacted into an

be and the same is hereby amended in tre follopring particulars:
J That the classification of:
Lots 4,5,6,7 and 8, I31ock 35; and Lots 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, and
25 feet 1 ying East of Lot 22, all in Bloek 35, Fairmount Addition ~
as amended,
be and the same is hereby changed from a busine9s district to a single family resident-
ial district.

i Section 2. That the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to cause
the map attached to Ordinance No. 8423 to show the foregoing changes in classiiicat-
ion of areas and to note thereon the rule with respect to buildings in single family
residence zones: All Ordinances and parts of Ordinance in ccmflict rerewith are
herewith repealed.
