An Ordinance repealing Ordinancr~ No. 8936 entitled; An Ordinance vacating the following d©scrived area, to-wit: The platted alley extending East and V+(est ~tl^sough Block ^c0 Chambers Addition to the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, and bounded by the_Y,1est line of Garfield Street and the East line of Arthur Street in said City of Eugene. WHEREAS, the above Ordinance No 8936 was prematurely and illegally passed by the Common Council of the City of Eugene on September 9, 19l~6, and thereafter purportedly approved by the R4ayoi~ on September 10, 191.F6, and should be repealed. TfiEREFORE, TiiE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That Ordinance No. 8936 entitled; An Ordinance vacating the following described aroa, to-wit; The platted alley extending East and West through Block 20 Chambers Addition to the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, and bounded by the West line of Garfield Street and the East line of Arthur Street in said City of Eugene. purportedly passed by ~;he Common Council on September 9, 1916 and purportedly approved by the R~~ayor on September 10, 19LF6, be and the same is hereby repealed in its entirety.
