' An Ordinance amending Ordinance P1o. 8113 of the City of Eugene, entitled:
_ ~~An Ordinance to create or divide the City into Districts
within some of which it shall be lawful, and within others
of which it shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter
or maintain certain buildings, or to carry on certain trades
or callings, or within which the height and bulk of future
buildings shall be limited, and providing for set-back lines,
and providing for a penalty for the violation thereof.~~
passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor April 9, 1935•
~tHEREAS, under the direction of the Common Council of the City of Eugene
the City Planning Conunission has prepared a tentative report ar~d held hearings
thereon and have adopted the tentative report as their final and permanent report and
transmitted the same to the City Council with recommendation that the same be enacted
into an o rdinance,
Now, Therefore,
THE CITY OF EUGEPtE DOES OR~JAIN AS FOLUJWS:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. $113 entitled:
"An Ordinance to create or divide the City into Districts with-
in some of which it shall be lawful and within others of which
it shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter or maintain cer-
tain buildings, or to carry on certain trades or callings, or
within which the height and bulk of future buildings shall be
limited, and providing for setback lines, and providing for a
penalty for the violation thereof.'
passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, 2nd approved by the ]~~ayor April y, 1935,
be and the same is hereby amended in the following particulars;
That the classification of :
The North one-half of Block Eight (8), Chambers Addition to
Eugene
be and the same is hereby changed from a residential district to a Class B-1 busi-
ness district.
Section 2. That the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to c ause
the map attached to Ordinance No. 8113 to show the foregoing changes in classifica-
tion of areas and to note thereon the rule wi ~ respect to buildings in single family
residence zones.
