ONDINANCE N0. 8958
An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 8l~13 of the City of .Eugene, entitled:
"An Ordinance to create or divide the City into Districts within
some of which it shall be lawful, and within. others of which it
shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain
buildings, or to carry on certain trades or callings, or within
which the height and bulk of fU tore buildings shall be limited,
and providing for setback lines, and providing for a penalty for
the violation thereof."

rNHEREAS, under the direction of the Common Council of the City of Eugene
the City Planning Commission has prepared a tentative report and held hearings there-
on and have adopted the tentative report as their final and permanent report and
transmitted the same to the City Couna.l with recommendation that the same be en-
acted into an Ordinance,
Now, Therefore,
THE CITY OF EUGERTE DOES ONDAIN AS FULLOWS:
Section 1. That Ordinance Pdo. 81113 entitled:
"An Ordinance to create or divide the City into Districts with-
in some of which it shall be lawful and within others of which
it shall be unla~~ful to erect, construct, alter or maintain
certain buildings, or to carry on certain trades or callings,
or within vrhich the height and bulk of future buildings shall
be limited, and providing for setback lines, and providing for
a penalty for the violation thereof."
passed by the Conunon Council April 8, 1935, and approved by. ~e Mayor April 9, 1935,
be and the same is hereby amended in the follcrrring particulars:
That the classification of:
Part of Lots 7 and 8 in Block 30, Driverton Addition to Eugene.
Property located at 23rd and Alder Streets ~
be and the same is hereby changed from a single family residence to multiple family
residence classification (R-3}.
Section 2. That the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to cause
the map attached to Ordinance No. 8113 to show the foregoing changes in classifica-
tion of areas and to note thereon the rule with respect to buildings in single family
residence zones.
