Home My WebLink AboutORDINANCE NO. 8972 ~~6 ORDINANCE NO. 8972 An Ordinance levying assessments for the construction of a sewer in the alley between Jefferson and Dltadison Streets from Nineteenth Avenue to Twenty-fourth Avenue. - WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Eugene did by Ordinance No. 8926 passed by the said Common Council on the 29th day of July, 19I~6, and approved by the Mayor thereof on the 30th day of July, 19J~.6, determine to construct a sewer in the-alley between Jefferson and Madison Streets from Nineteenth Avenue to Twenty-fourth Avenue in the City of Eugene, and WHEREAS, the improvement above described and designated has been made in accordance with said ordinance and the law in such case made and provided, and the costs and amount thereof to be assessed have been ascertained to be, Amount Paid Contractor X3907,18 Engineering 5~ 195.36 Amount to be Assessed .~ • WHEREAS, notice of the proposed assessment to the owners ar_d reputed I j owners of the hereafter designated parcels of real property having been heretofore j duly and regularly given and in compliance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1510, passed by the Common Council of the City of Eugene on the 20th day of April, 19]!x. and ~ approved by the Mayor thereof on the 21st day of April, 197.L;., and the Common Council having heard any and all protests, objections and remonstrances thereto and having fully considered the same, , - THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLONTS: Section 1.
