I~tHEREAS, the Common Council of -the City of Eugene did by Ordinance No. 8712, passed by the said Common Council on the' 26th day of January, 191.x2, and ap- proved by the A4ayor thereof on the 27th day of January, 19l~2, determine to construct a sewer on the South side of Twenty-second Avenue from the alley betvreen ?~~ashington and Jefferson Streets to V'Cashington Street, and on Washington Street from Twenty- second Avenue to Tvrenty-fourth Avenue, in the City of Eugene , and 1PJt-~REAS, the improvement above described aril designated has been made in accordance with said ordinance and the law in such case made and provided, and the costs and amount thereof to be assessed have been ascertained to be, Amount paid Contractor X1,385.33 5~ Engineering charge 69.27 Amount assessed property , i.b0 WHEREAS, notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed one rs of the hereafter designgted parcels of real property having been heretofore duly and regularly given and in compliance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1510, passed by the Common Council of the City of Eugene on the 20th day of April, 19111, and approved by the P~4ayor thereof on the 21st day of April, 1911.x, and the Common Council having heard any and all protests, objections and remonstrances thereto and having fully considered the same, THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FC1LLOl~S: Section 1. That the total cost of constructing a sewer on the south side of Twenty-second Avenue from the alley between ~'tashington and Jefferson Streets to ~Jashington Street, azid on Washington Street from Twenty-second Avenue to Twenty- fourth Avenue in the City of Eugene, Oregon, is the sum of ~1,1~51.~.60, as aforesaid, which is by this Ordinance assessed against the parcels of property hereinafter described in the amounts set opposite, respectively. Section 2. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, does hereby determine and assess each lot, and part of lot, being in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, to-wit : 1. ELLUPI R.
