ORDINANCE N0. 898.
An Ordinance to amend-Section I of Ordinance DIo. $802 of the City of
Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, passed by the Common Council on the 2~.th day of
July, 191~1~, and approved by the Mayor on the 25th day of July, 1~l~., and repealing
Section V of saki Ordinance.
THE CITY OF EU GENE DOES ORDAIN AS FnLLOWS:
Section I. That Section I of Ordinance No. 8802 passed by the Common
Council on the 2Z~th day of July, 19I.~., and approved by the I!Zayor on the 25th day of
July, 1Q1..~.r., be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows:
Section I. Every part or portion of every building or other structure of any
and every character whatsoever, other than residences, in tivhich and as an incident of
the use and occupation thereof, any substance upon which rats and mice can feed is.
handled, stored or kept, shall be rat and rodent proofed, either by concrete or
metal or some equally impermeable material, so as to effectually exclude rats and
mice therefrom, tarhether the building housing such use and occupancy rests upon a
basement or other support.
Section II. That Section V of Ordinance No. 8802 aforesaid be and the same
is hereb3r repealed.
Section III. That except as in Section I and II above provided, said
Ordinance No. $802 and the whole thereof shall remain in full force and effect
as heretofore.
