ORDINANCE N0. 8985
An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 8.13 of the City of Eugene, entitled;

"An Ordinance to create or divide the City into
Districts within some of which it shall be lawful, and
within others of which it shall be unlawful to
erect, construct, alter or maintain certain build-
ings, or to carry on certain trades or callings,
or within which the height and bulk of future build-
ings shall be limited, and providing for setback
lines, and providing for a penalty for the violation
thereof."
passed by the Common-Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor April 9, 1935.
WHEREAS, under the direction of the Common Council of the City of Eugene,
the City Planning Commission has prepared a tentative report and held hearings thereon
and have adopted the tentative report as their final and permanent report and trans-
witted the same to the City Council with recommendation that the same be enacted
into an Ordinance,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 8l~13, entitled;
"An Ordinance to create or divide the City into
Districts within some of which•it shall be lawful
and within others of which it shall be unlawful to
erect, construct, alter or maintain certain buildings,
or to carry on certain trades or callings, or vrithin
which the height and bulk of future buildings shall be
limited, and providing for setbaclt lines, and provid-
ing for a penalty for the violation thereof."
passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the 1~Fayor April 9, 1935,
be and the same is hereby amended in the following particulars;
That the classification of;
Commencing at the intersection of the south line of
13th Avenue West and the East line of Chambers Street,
running thence East along the South line of 13th Avenue
West 908 feet to a point 157.8 feet west of the East
line of Taylor Street if extended South, thence South
1134 feet, thence West 510 feet to the proposed State
Hi gharay as located, thence North 3i~.° 2~ t V'dest 657 feet
to the East line of Chambers Street, thence North along
the East Line of Chambers Street 592 feet to the place
of beginning, in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon.
be and the same is hereby designated as a multiple family zone and classification.
Section 2. That the City Enginoer be and he is hereby directed to cause
the map attached to Ordinance No. 8L~13, to shoes the foregoing change in classification
of areas and to note thereon the rule with respect to buildings in multiple family
residence zones.
