ORDINANCE NO. 8991
An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 8.13 of the City of Eugene,
entitled;
"An Ordinance to create or divide the City into Districts
within some of vrhich it shall be lawful, ar_d vrithin
others of vrhich it shall be unlawful to erect, construct,
alter or maintain certain buildings, or to carry on certain
trades or callings, or vrithin vrhich the height and bulls of
future buildings shall be li::,ited, and providing for setback
lines, and providing for a penalty for the violation thereof."

WHEREAS, under the direction of the Common Council of the City of ^
Eugene, the City Planning Commission has prepared a tentative report and held
hearings thereon and have adopted the tentative report as their final and perma-

AtOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EUGEATE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Ordinance Pdo. 8.13, entitled:
"An Ordinance to create or divide the City into Districts
within some of which it shall be lawful and vrithin others
of which it shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter or
maintain certain buildings or to carry on certain trades or
callings, or vrithin which the height and bulk of future build-
- ings shall be limited, and providing for setback lines, and
providing for a penalty for the violation thereof."
passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the P,gayor April 9,
1935, be and the same is hereby amended in the follovring particulars:
That the classification of:
The block area between 13th Avenue East, and 12th Avenue
East bounded by Alder and Kincaid Streets,
be and the same is Hereby designated as business classification and zoning.
Section 2. That the City Engineer be and he is hereby dirocted to
cause the map attached to Ordinance Pio. 8L~13, to show the foregoing change in
classification of areas and to note thereon the rule z~vi.th respect to buildings
in multiple family residence zones.
