Whereas, the Common Council of the City of Eugene da.d by Ordi.nanee No. 8988, passed by the said Common Council on the 10th day of March, 191.7, and approved by the Mayor thereof on the 11th day of March, 191.i.7, determine to construct a cement sidewalk on the South side of Twenty-fifth Avenue East from Alder Street to Kincaid Street, in the City of Eugene, and Whereas, the improvement above described and designated has been made i.n accordance with said Ordinance and the law in. such case made and provided, and the costs thereof arni amount to be assessed have been ascertained to bei Amount paid Contractor X338.10 Engineering charge 51 16.81 Amount to be assessed, 3jj .~ Whereas, notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed av~mers of the hereafter designated parcels of real property having iieen heretofore duly and regularly given and in compliance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1510, passed by the Common Council of the City of Eugene on the 20th day of April, 1911.x., and approved by the I~gayor thereof on the 21st day of April, 191~.~, anct the Common Coi.lncil having heard any and all protests, objections and remonstrances theroto and having fully considered the same, THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOV~IS : Section 1. That the total cost of constructing a cement sidewalk on the South side of Twenty-fifth Avenue East from Alder Street to Kincaid Street, i.n the City of Eugene, Oregon, is the sum of X355.01, as aforesaid, which is by this Ordinance assessed against the parcels of property hereinafter described in the amounts set opposite, respectively. Section 2. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, does hereby determine and assess each lot and part of lot, being in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, to-wits 1. CHARLES R. PrgERSDORF : Lot 22, Block ]l~, First Addition to City Outlook, as platted and recorded at page 61 of Volume ~., Lane County Oregon Plat Records, in bane County, Oregon, X177.51 Section 3. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, does hereby determine that each parcel of land or lot hereinbefore described is specifically benefitted to the oxtent of the assessment hereinbefore set forth, and does hereby declare each and all of said assessments to be liens upon the respective lots, parts of lots or parcels of land against which said several amounts are assessed, and orders and directs the City Recorder ~~2 to enter in the docket of City liens, a statement thereof containing: First; A description of each lot, part of lot or acreage property liable j for:such improvement. I Second; The name of the rnmer or reputed owner thereof, or that the name of the ot~mer is unknrnvn. _ Third; The sum assessed upon said property and the date of entering the sane in the said docket of city liens.
