ORDINANCE N0. 902l~
An Ordinance levying assessments for paving and improving the alleys between
Tenth and Eleventh Avenues and Olive and Charnelton Street, in t he City of Eugene, Lane
County, Oregon.
Whereas, the Conunon Council of the City of Eugene did by Ordinance No. 8980,
passed by the said Common Council on the 10th day of February, 191i.7, and approved by
the Mayor thereof on the 11th day of February, 191.i.7, determine to pave and improve
the alleys between Tenth and Eleventh Avenues and Olive and Charnelton Streets, in the
City of Eugene, and
Whereas, the improvement above described and designated has been made in
accordance with said ordinance and the law in such ease made and provided, and the costs
thereof and amount to be assessed have been ascertained to be,

Whereas, notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed oc~mers
of the hereafter designated parcels of real property hav5.ng been heretofore duly and
regularly given and in compliance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1510, passed
by the Common Council of the City of Eugene on the 20th day of April, 19].t.i., and approved
by the Mayor thereof on the 21st day of April, 191I.~., and the Common Council having heard
any and all protests, objections and remonstrances thereto and having fully considered
the same,
THE CITY OF EUCEr~ DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the total cost of paving and improving the alleys between
Tenth and Eleventh Avenues and Olive and Charnelton Streets, in the City of Eugene,
Oregon, is the sum of ~~lr.,235•16, as aforesaid, which is by this Ordinance assessed
against the parcels of property hereinafter described in the av~.ounts set opposite,
respectively:
Section 2. That"the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, does hereby
determine and assess each lot and part of lot, being in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon,
to-wit
1. HOFFMAN, SCHUCHART AND WRI(~iT, INC., an Oregon Corporation.
_ Lots 1, 2 and 3 in Block 5 of r,~ulligan~s Addition West
to Eugene City as platted and recorded in Vol. A, page
122 of bane County Oregon Deed Records except the East

Section 3. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, does hereby
_ determine that each parcel of land or lot hereinbefore described in specifically
benefitted to the extent of the assessment hereinbefore set forth, and does hereby
declare eaah and all of said assessments to be liens upon the-respective lots parts
of lots or parcels of land against which said several amounts are assessed, and orders
and directs the City Recorder to enter in the docket of City liens, a statement thereof
containing:
First; A description of each lot, part of lot or acreage property liable
for such improvement.
Second; The name of the owner or reputed owner thereof, or that the name
of the vaaner is unknown.
Third; The sum assessed upon said property and the date of entering the
same in the said docket of city liens.
