An Ordinance levying assessments for the construdtion of a cement sidewalk on the
?Nest side of Kincaid Street between Twenty-sixth Avenue East and Twenty-seventh Avenue East,
in the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon.
U~TiERE,4S, the Common Council of the City of Eugene did by Ordinance No. 8993, passed

by the said Common Council on the 14th day of April, 1947, and approved by the Mayor thereof
on April 15, 194?, determine to construct a cement sidewalk on the West side of Kincaid Street
bewteen Twenty=sixth Avenue East and Twenty-seventh Avenue East, in the City of Eugene, Lane
County, Oregon; and,
UIILREAS, the improvement above described and designated has been made in accordance
with said Ordinance and the law in such case made and provided, and the costs thereof ar~d
amount to be assessed have bean ascertained to be,
Amount paid contractor $~ 842.50
5% Engineering charge 2.1
Amount assessed property ~ $84.63
WHEREAS, notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed owners of tkie
hereinafter designated parcels of real property having been heretofore duely and regularly
given and in compliance with the provisions of Ordinanc~eeNo. 1510, passed by the Common
Council of the City of Eugene on the 20th day of April, 1914, ar~d approved by the Mayor thereof
on the 21st day of April, 1914, and the Common Council having heard any and all protests,
objections and r emonstrances thereto and having fully considered the same,
THE CITY OF IIJGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLO?STS:
Section 1. That the total cost of constructing a c ement sidewalk on the T~Test side of
Kincaid Street between Twenty-sixth Avenue East and ^lwenty-seventh Avenue East, in the City
of Eugene, is the sum of X8$4.63, as aforesaid, which is by this Ordinance assessed against
the parcels of property hereinafter described in'~the amounts set opposite, respectively.
Section 2. That the Corm~on Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, does hereby determine
and assess each lot and part of lot, being in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, to-wit:

Section 3. That the Common Council of the city of Eugene does hereb,~ determine that
each parcel of land or lot hereinbefore described is specifically benefitted to the extent
of the assessment hereinbefore set forth, and does hereby declare each and all of said assess-
ments to be liens upon the respective lots, parts of lots or parcels of land against ~,~hich
said several amounts are assessed, and orders and directs the City Recorder to ent er in th e
docket of City Liens, a statement thereon containing:
First: A description of each lot; part of lot or acreage property liable for such
improvement .
Second: The name of the owner or reputed owner thereof, or that the name of the
owner is unknown.
`T'hird: The sum assessed upon said property and the date of entering the same in the
said. docket of city liens .
