I', An Ordinance am~ding Ordinance No. 8413, of the City of Eugene, entitled:
~~ "An Ordinance to create or divide the City into Distri cts within some of
! which it shall be lawful, and within others of which it shall be unlawful
~~ to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain buildings, or to carry on
1~ certain trades or callings, or within which the height and bulk of futur e
~i buildings shall be limited, and providing for setback lines, and providing
~ for a penalty for the violation thereof", passed by the Common Council
~{ April 8, 1935, and pproved by the Mayor, April 9, 1935, and repealing
h Ordinance of said City No. and other ordinances in conflict
~~ ~ herewith.
fj WHEREAS, under the direction of the Common Council of the City of Eugene, the City
~' Plannin Commission has
~~ g prepared a tentative report and held hearings thereon and has
adopted the tentative report as their final and perman~t report and transmitted the same
to the City Council with recommendation that the same be enacted into an Ordinance; and

i U3HEREAS, Ordinance No. ,passed by the Common Council on October 14, 1947,
~~'~ and approved by the Mayor on October 15, 1947, purporting to reclassify the hereinafter

~~ described real property, was irregularly passed and adopted and should be set aside

j NQrJ, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLO~JS:

Section 1. That Ordinance No. 8413, entitled:

passed by the Common ~ouncil April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor April 9, 1935, be .and

j± the same is hereby amended in the following particulars:
`i That the classification of:

~' Lot 8, Block 9 of Elias Stewart's Addition to Eugene, as platted and recorded
I~ at page 29 of Volume 2, Lane County Oregon Plat ftecords~
~, be and the same is hereby designated as multiple family (more than four units) classification
~! and zoning.

I~ Section 2. That the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to cause the map
~~,
;~ attached to Ordinance No. 81x.3, to show the foregoing change in classification of areas and
~;
~j to note thereon the rule with respect to buildings in multiple family zones.

f: Section 3. That Ordinance No. of said City of Eugene aforesaid, and all

'~~ other ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
