ORDINANCE NO.~
An Ordinance levying assessments for the paving of Tyler Street betvreen Eighth Avenue West
and West Broadway, in the City of Eugene, Lane County-, Oregon.
t~;REAS, the Common Council of the City of Eugene did by Ordinance No. 9017, passed by the
said Common Council on the 9th day of June, 1947, and approved by the Mayor thereof on June 10,
1947, determine to pave Tyler Street between Eighth Avenue 4dest and Ir3est Broadway, in the City
of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon; and,
'~THE.REAS, the improvement above described and designated has been made in accordance with
said Ordinance and the law in such case made and provided., and the costs thereof and amount to
be assessed have been ascertained to be,
Amount paid contractor, ~ 3975.72

Amount assessed property ~ 4174.51
WHEREAS, notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed owners of the herein-
after designated parcels of real property having been heretofore duly and regularly given and
in compliance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1510, passed by the Common Council of the
City of Eugene on the 20th day of April, 1914, and approved by the Mayor thereof on the 21st
day of April, 1914, and the Common Council having heard any and all protests, objections and
remonstrances thereto and having flzlly considered the same.
THE CITY OF ~.TGENE DOES ORDAIN AS ~LLONTS:
Section 1. That the total cost of paving Tyler Street between Eighth Avenue West and West
Broadway, in the City of Eugene, is the sum of X64174.51, as aforesaid, vrhich is by this ordinance]
assessed against the parcels of property hereinafter described in the amounts set apposite,
respectively.
Section 2. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, does hereby determine
and assess each lot and part of lot being in Eugene , Lane County, Oregon, to-wit:
1. WILLIAM R RILEY:
Commending at a point 13$.9 feet South of a point 1759.96 feet East of a point.
35 links South of the Northwest corner of the James Huddleston Donation Land
claim in Township 17 South Range 4 West of the Willamette Meridian, in Lane
County, Oregon, and running thence South 2 distance of about 152 feet to the
North line of West Broadway, thence East along the North line of West Broadway
,59.92 feet, thence North to a point due east of the point of beginning, thence
West 59.92 feet to the point of beginning, in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon. X1071.08

parcel of land or lot hereinbefore described is specifically benefitted to the extent bf the
assessment hereinbefore set forth, z.nd does hereby declare each and all of said assessments to
