HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE NO. 911865 ORDIPJE~JCE P10. 9118 Arr Ordinance levying assessments for the construction of a sidevralk on the North side side of Thirteenth Avenue betvreen Chambers anti Grant Street in the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon. ti"T,~IENEI~S, the Cor.~mon Council of the City of Eugene did by Qrdinance No. 9052, passed 1 by the said Common Council on the 25th day of August, 1947, and approved by the Mayor thereof on the 26th day of August, 1g47, detennine to construct a sidewalk on the North side of Thirteenth Avenue betvreen Chambers and Grant StrF~ets in the City of Eugene, Lane County, Uregon; and 1'~fHEREAS, the improvement above described and designated has been made in accordance with said Ordinance and the lavr in such case made and provided, and the costs thereof and amount to be assessed have been ascertained to be, Amount paid contractor $~ 81.00 5~ Engineering charge 4.05 Amount assessed property ~~ VTfIEREAS, notice of the ~oposed assessment to the owners and reputed owners of the hereinafter designated parcels of real property having been heretofore duly and regular- ly given and in compliance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1510, passed by the Common Council of the City of Eugene on the 20th day of April, 1914, and approved by the lt4a,lor thereof on the 21st day of April, 1914, and the Conunon Council having heard any and all protests, objections and remonstrances thereto and having fully considered the same . That the total cost of constructing a sidevralk on the North side of 1 Thirteenth Avenue between Chambers and Grant Streets in the City of Eugene, is the sum of X85.05, as aforesaid, which is by this Ordinance assessed against the parcels of pro- perty hereinafter described in the amounts set opposite, respectivel~~. Section 2. That the ConLmor. Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon does hereby deter- mine and assess each lot and part of lot being in ~%ugene, Lane County, Oregon, to-wit: 1. JAMES E. BOYI,ES: Lot 7, Dlock 16, Chambers Addition to Eugene, Lane County, Oregon. Section 3. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene does hereby determine that each parcel of land or lot hereinbefore described is speci_fica]_ly benefitted to the ex- tent of the assessment hereinbefore sat forth, and does hereby declare each and all of said assessments to be liens upon the respective lots, parts or lots or parcels of land against which said several amounts are assessed, and orders and directs the City Recorder to enter ir. the docket of City Liens, a statement thereof containing the follovring: First: A description of each lot, part of lot or acreage property liable for such r improvem en t .
