An Ordinance levying assessments for the paving of the alley between Third Avenue
and Fourth Avenue from Jefferson to Madison Street in the City of Eugene, Lane County,
Oregon.
PfHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Eugene did by Ordinance j~o. 9086,
passed by the said Common Council on the 22nd day of December, 19117, and approved by
tt,e T~Ia.yor thereof on the 23rd day of December, 1947, determine to pave the alley be-
tween Third Avenue and Fourth Avenue from Jefferson Street to Madison Street in the
City of Eugene, Oregon; and
'~~iEREAS, the improvement above described ar_d designated has been made in accord-

ance with Ordinance and the law in such case made and provided, and the costs thereof
and amount to be assessed have been ascertained to be,

?r~txEREAS, notice of the proposed assessment , to the owners and reputed owners of
the hereinafter desi_gnatt~d parcels of real property having been heretofore duly and
regularh* g~_ven and j..n compliance witr. the provisions of Ordinance No. 1510, passed
by the Common Council of the City of. Eugene on the 20th day of April, 1914, and
approved by the j~ayor the roof on the 21st day of npril, 1914, and the Common Council
having heard any and all protests, objections and remonstrances thereto and having
fully considered the same.

Section 1. That the total cost of. paving the alley between Third Avenue and Fourth

Avenue from Jefferson to b~adison Street in the City of Eugene, is the sum of X2,770.90,
as aforesaid, vrhich is by this ordinance assessed against the parcels of property
hereinafter described in the amounts set opposite, respectively:
~'~ection 2. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon does hereby
determine and assess each lot and part of lot being in ~%u~;ene, Lane County, Oregon, to-wit:

~ which said several amounts are assessed, and"orders and directs the City Recorder to enter
in the docket of City Liens, a statement thereof containing the following:
