An Ordinance levying assessments for the construction of a concrete walk on the North
side of Twen ty-fourth Avenue between Ramey and Mcn~iillan Street in the City of Eugene, Lane
County, Oregon.
V~HEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Eugene did by Ordinance No. 9133, passed

by the said Common Council on the 12th day of April, 19l~8, and approved by the Mayor
thereof on the 13th day of April, 19lt8, determine to construct a concrete walk on the
North side of Twenty-fourth Avenue between Ramey and McR.4illan Street in the City of Eugene,
Lane County, Oregon, and
WHEREAS, the improvements above described and designated have been made in accordance
with said Ordinance and the law in such case made and provided, and the costs thereof and
amount to be assessed have been ascertained to be,

'NTHEREAS, notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed owners of the
hereinafter designated parcel of real property having:been heretofore duly and regularly
given and incompliance with the provisions of Ordinance Pdo. 1510, passed by the Common
Council of the City of Eugene on the 20th day of April, 191l~, and approved.. by the Adayor
thereof on the 20th day of April, 1911, and the Common Council having heard any and all
protests, ob3ections and remonstrances thereto and having fully considered the same.
THE CITY OF EUGEPIE Dl?ES ORDAIN AS FOLIAWS:
Section 1. That the total cost of construction a concrete walk on the North side of

Twenty-fourth Avenue between Ramey and ~eMillan Street in the City of Eugene is the sum
of X197.87 as aforesaid, which is by this Ordinance assessed against the parcels of pro-
party hereinafter described in the amounts set opposite, respectively.
Section 2. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, does hereby deter-
mine and assess each lot and part of lot being in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, to-wit:

Lot ,Block 2, ughs Second Addition to Eugene, Lane County, Oregon,
also a strip 10 feet aide along the entire East side of said lot. $197.87
Section 3. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene does hereby determine that
each parcel of land or lot hereinbefore described is specifically benefitted to the extent
of the assessment hereinbefore set forth, and does hereby declare each and all of said
assessments to be liens upon the respective lots, parts of lots or parcels of land against
which said several amounts are assessed, and orders and directs the City Recorder to enter
in the docket of City Liens a statement thereof containing;
First: A description of each lot, part of lot or acreage properly liable for such im-

provement.

Second: The nay of the owner or reputed owner thereof, or that the name of the owner

is unknown.
Third: The sum assessed upon said property and the date of entering the same in the
said docket of city liens.
