An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 81113 of the City of Eugene, entitled:
"An Ordinance to create or divide the City into Districts within some of Ii
which it shall be lawful, and within others of which it shall be unlawful
to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain buildings, or to carry on ~I
certain trades or callings, or within vrhich the height and bulk of future
buildings shall be limited, and providing for setback lines, and providing ~'
for a penalty for the violation thereof", passed by the Common Council '~I
April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor, April 9, 1935• ~~'
VPHEREAS, under the direction of the Common Council of the City of Eugene, the 'City it

Planning Commission has prepared a tentative report and held hearings thereon and has

adopted the tentative report as their final and permanent report and transmitted the j

same to the City Council with recommendation. that the same be enacted into an Ordinance; ;I

Section 1.. That Ordinance No. 8413, entitled: ~'
"An Ordinance . to -create or divide the City into Districts within sane
of which it shall be lawful and within others of which it shall be un- j

of future buildings shall be limited, and providing for setback lines,

passed by the Common Council Apri1.,8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor April 9, 1935, be, 'I
and the same is hereby, amended in the following particulars:
That the classification of:
the entire block surrounded by East 17th and East 18th Avenues and
Alder Street and Hilyard Street,
be, and the same is hereby, designated as R-2 (Any size apartment) classification. ',~
Also, that the classification of: ~ ~~

Lots 19 and 20, Block 3, Riverwood Addition,

be, and the same is hereby designated as I-2 (Light Industrial District) classification. 'I

Section 2. That the City Engineer be, and he is hereby, directed to cause the map ~,
attached to Ordinance No. 8413, to show the foregoing change of classification of areas

and to note thereon the rules with respect to buildings in R-2 (Any size apartment) ~j
classification and I-1 (Light Industrial District) classifications. ,I
