An Ordinance levying assessments for the construction of a concrete walk on the East
side of Kincaid Street between Twenty-seventh and ~renty:-eigk~th Avenues in front of 27111
Kincaid Street in the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon.
Wf~REAS, the Common Council of the City of Eugene did by Ordinance No. 9156, passed
by the said Common Council on the 10th day of May, 191.;8, and approved by the Mayor thereof
on the 11th day of May, ly1}8, determine to construct a concrete walk on the East side of
Kincaid Street between Twenty-seventh and Twenty-eighth Avenues in front of 2711 K~caid
Street in the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, an d
WHEREAS, the improvements above described and designated have been made in accord-
ance with said Ordinance and t~ law in such case made and provided, and the costs thereof
and amount to be assessed have been ascertained to be,

ti9HEREAS, notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed owners of the
hereinafter designated parcel of r?al property having been heretofore duly and regularly
given and ir. compliance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1510, passed by the Common
Council of the City of Eug~e on the 20th day of April, 1914, and approved by the Mayor
thereof on the 20th day of April, 1911.x, and the Common Council having heard any and all
protests, objections and remonstrances thereto and having heard and fully considered the
same .
TF~ CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOV05:
Section 1. That the total cost of constructing a concrete walk on the East side of
Kincaid Street between Tnlenty-seventh and Tvrenty-eighth Avenues in front of 271;1 Kincaid
Street in the City of Eugene is the sum of X99.75 as aforesaid, which is by this Ordinance

assessed against the parcel of property hereinafter described in the amount set opposite,

respectively.
Section 2. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, does hereby deter-

mine and assess each lot and part of lot being in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, to-wit:

Section 3. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene does hereby determine that
each parcel of land or lot hereinbefore described is specifically benefitted to the extent
of the assessment hereinbefore set forth, and does hereby declare each and all of said
assessments to be liens upon the respective lots, parts of lots or parcels of land against
which said several amounts are ass®ssed, and ordered and directs the City Recorder to enter
~ in the docket of City Liens, a statement thereof containing:

First: A description of each lot, pa rt of lot or acreage properly liable for such

improvement.
Second: The name of the owner or reputed owner thereof, or that the nine of the
owner i s unknown .
Third: The slam assessed upon said property and the date of entering the same in
the said docket of City Liens .
