ORDINANCE AJO. 9170
An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 8413 of the City of Eugene, entitled:
~'An Ordinance do create or divide the City into Districts vsathin some of
of which it shall be lawful, and within othe rs of vrhich it shall be unlaw-
ful to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain buildings, or to carry
on certain trades or callings, or within which the height and bulk of
future buildings shall be limited, and providing for setback lines, and
providing for a penalty for the violation thereof~~, passed by the Common
Council xpril 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor April 9, 1935
WHEREAS, under the direction of the Common Council of the City of Euge ne, the City
Manning Commission has prepared a tentative report and held hearings thereon and has
adopted the tentative report as their final az d permanent report and transmitted the same
to the City Council with recommendation that the same be enacted into an Ordinance;
NOId, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOVI5:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 8l~13, entitled:

passed by the Comrzon Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor April 9, 1935, be,
and the same is hereby, amended in the following particulars:
That the classification of:

Beginning at a point on the present City limits line of the City of Eugene,
Lane County, Oregon, said point being the intersection of the Nest line of
the alley in Block 35 of College Hill Park Addition in Section 6, Township
18'South, Range 3 'West of the Vdillar~ette Meridian, and the South City
Limits of the City of Eugene;_ thence South along West side of said alley
to the North line of Block 1 of ~^~fest Vievr Addition.; thence West along
North line of said Addition to the T~1est line of the alley in Block l;
thence South along the West line of the alley to the North line of Block
1t in V~(est View Addition; thence tiVesterly along the North line of Block !~
to the property line common between Lots 7 and 10 in Block l~; thence
South on the property lines common between Lots 7 and 10, and Lots 8 and
9 in Blocks 4, 5, 8 and 9 to the South line of the alley in Block 9 of
said "hest View addition; thence East along the South line of the alley to
the East line of Block 9; thence South along the East side of said Block
to a point 'G1est of the property line common between Lots 5 and 6 of Block
6 of Frasier-Hyland Addition; thence East along the property lines common
between Lots 5 and 6, and Lots 17 and 18 in Blocks 6, 7, and 12 in Frasier-
Hyland Addition to the East side of the alley in Block 12; thence North
along the East side of said alley in Blocks 12, 11, and 10 to the lot line
common between Lots 37 and 38 in Block 10; thence East along said lot line
in Block 10 and lot line between Lots 5 and 6 in Block 15 to the 7~Vest line
of Seattle Avenue; thence North, West, and North along the East side of
Block 15 of Frasier-Hyland Addition to the Easterly Northwest corner of
said Addition; thence North along the East side of Lots 15, 11.x, 13 and 12
feet of Lot 12, Block 31 of College Hill Park Addition; thence East to the
East side of the alley in Block 31 of said Addition; thence North along
the East side of said alley to its intersection with the present Eugene
City Limits lira ; thence i°lest along the City Limits line to the place of
beginning, all property lying vrithin Section 6 of Township 18 South, Range
3 West of the Willamette Meridian, in Lane County, Oregon.

Section 2. That the City Engineer be, and he is hereby, directed to cause the map ---

and to note thereon the rule with respect to buildings in R-1 Single Family Residence Dis-
tricts . j
