to levy assessments for the construction of a concrete sidewalk on the y'Vest side of Filmore

ti`VHEREAS, the notice of the proposed assessment to the ovti~ners and reputed owners of the !,~

therein designated parcel of real property had not been given due and proper notice in com- ;~

pliance with the ordinances of the City of Eugene, and ii

WHEREAS, The Common Council of the City of Eugene did by Ordinance No. 9016, passed by '
the Common Council of June 9, 1917, and approved by the Mayor on June 10, 19l~7, determine ~~

to construct a concrete sidevral.k on tkre Vlest side of Filmore Street between 'best Broadway ,~
and Eleventh Avenue Vilest in the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, and
WHEREAS, the improvements above described and designated have -been made in accordance
with said Ordinance and the law in such:.case made and provided, and the costs thereof and ;";

assessments to be liens against the respective lots, parts of lots or parcels of land
against which said several amounts are assessed, and orders and directs the City Recorder
to enter in the docker of City Liens a statement thereof containing;
First: A description of each lot, part of lot or acreage properly liable for such
improvement.
Second.; The rnoame of the ovrner or reputed owner thereof, or that the name of the
owner i s unknovrn .
Third: The sum assessed upon said property and the date of entering the same in the
said. docket of City Liens .
Section 4. That Ordinance No. 9173 passed by the Common Council on the 14th day of
June, 1948, and approved by the Mayor on the 15th day of June, 1948, be, and the same is
hereby, repealed.
