An Ordinance amending Ordinanc^ Ne. 9188 of the City of Eugene, entitled, "An
Ordinance to create or divide the City into districts within some of wriich it
shall be lawful, and within others of which it shall be unlawful to erect, con-
struct, alter, or maintain cert~xin buildings, or to carry on certain trades or
callings; to limit the height and bulk of future buildings; to provide for
setback.- lines, size of yards, and other open spaces; to establish minim~zm lot
sizes; to provide fir automobile parking facilities; to provide for the en-
forcement, adjustment, and amendment thereof; and to prescribe penalties for
its violation in the City of Eu~~ene, Oregon; and to repeal Ordinance No. 8413
and all amendments thereto, and ordinances 6992, 8693, 8700," passed by the
Common Council June 28, 1948, and approved by the Mayor June 29, 1948.
WNEftEAS, under the direction of the Common Council of the City of Eugene, the City
Planning Commission has prepared a tentative report and held hearings thereon and has adopt-
ed the tentative report as their final and permanent report and transmitted the same to the
City Council;
P101;J, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EUGEPIE DOES 0?tEAIA1 AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That ordinance No. 9188, entitled:
"An Ordinance to create or divide the City into distric+s within some of which
it shall be lawful, and within others of which it shall be unlawful to erect,
construct, alter, or maintain certain buildings, or to carry on certain trades
or callings; to limit the height and bulk of future buildings; to provide for
setback lines, size of yards, and other open spaces; to establish minimum lot
sizes; to provide for_autcanobile parking facilities; to provide for the enforce-
_ ment, adjustment, and amendment thereof; and to prescribe penalties for its vio-
lation in the Cit;~ of Eugene, Oregon; and to repeal Ordinance No. $413 and all.
amendments thereto, and Ordinances 6992, 8693, 8700,"
passed by the Common Council June 28, 1848, and approved b,y the Mayor June 29, 1948, be,
and the same is hereby, amended in the followinb particulars;
That +.,he classification of~ the below-described property:
_ Beginning at a point S 89° 20' E 125 feet and S 30 feet from the NV1 corner of
Sec . 1, T18S, R1~W, Vim, for the beginning point and N1~I corner of the tract here-
by conveyed, thence S 890 20' E 100 feet, thence S 160.0 feet, thence P,? 89°
20' V1 100 feet, and thence Al 160.0 feet to +..he place of beginning, except the
S 30 feet thereof, all in Lane County, Oregon,
be, and the same is hereby, designated as C-2 Neighborhood Commercial District.
Section 2. That the City Engineer,be, and he is hereby, directed to cause the map
attached to Ordinance No. 9188 to show the foregoing change of classification of area and
to note thereon the rules tivith respect to buildings in C-2 Neighborhood Commercial District.
