Section 1. That there be and there is hereby granted unto southern Pacific Company,
its successors and assigns, the revocable right and privilege to construct and maintain a
railroad spur track, and to ope rate cars thereon across that portion of l~lashington Street
being add acent tc -the Southern Pacific Railroad right-of-vra~,r on the South.
~iecti_on 2. The right and privilege he rei.~. granted is upon the conditions that said
street be kept open for. traffic, and that it shall not be blockaded an unreasonable time;
provided further that no cars shall 1>e left standing, ur~on said spur tract vrithin the street
lines of V~'ashington Street, vrithout having povJer att~.ched thereto.
Section 3. The right and privilege herein nranted is revocable at the pleasure of the
Coru;~_on Council of the City of Eugene upon givi ng six months ~ vrritten notice to Southern
T'wcific Compan,r, its successors or assigns .
