WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Eugene did by Ordinance No. 9111, passed by the said Common Council of the 26th day of April, 19118, and approved b y the Mayor thereof on the 27th day of April, 19l~8, determine to pave Taylor Street from Eleventh Avenue !Test to Twelfth Avenue ?Nest, in the City of Eugene, Lane Counter, Oregon, and WHEREAS, the improvements above described and designated have been made in accordance 1 vritll said ordinance and the law in such case made and provided, and the costs thereof and amount to be assessed have been ascertained to be, Amount paid contractor ~ 3807.98 5ro Engineering charge 190.10 Amount assessed 399~•3~ WfiEREAS, notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed owners of the here- inafter designated parcel of real property having been heretofore duly and regularly given and in compliance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1510, passed by the Common Council of the City of, Eugene on the 20th day of April, 1911, and approved by the Mayor thereof on the 20th day of April, 1911, and the Common Council having heard any and all protests, .object- ions and remonstrances thereto and having heard and fully considered the same. That the total cost of paving Taylor Street from Eleventh Avenue West to Twelfth Avenue V7es t, in the City of Eugene, is the sum of $3,998.38, as aforesaid, which is by this Ordinance assessed against the parcel of property hereinafter described in the amount se.t opposite, respectively. Section 2. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, does hereby deter- mine and assess each lot and part of lot being in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, to-wit: JOHN F. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene does hereby determine that each parcel of land or lot hereinbefore described is specifically benefitted to the extent of the assessment hereinbefore set forth, and does hereby declare each and all of said assess- menu to be liens upon the respectivE: lots, parts of lots or parcels of land against which said several amounts are assessed, and orders and directs the City Recorder to enter in the docket of City Liens a statement thereof containing: First: A description of each lot, part of lot or acreage properly liable for such im- provement. Second: The name. of the otivner or reputed owner thereof, or that the name of the owner is unknown.
