ORDINANCE N0. 9233
An Ordinance levying assessment for the paving of Eighteenth Avenue between Ferry and
Patterson Street, in the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon.
.WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Eugene did by Ordinance P1o. 9128, passed by
the said Common Council on the 12th day of April, 1948, and approved b;Yr the Mayor thereof on
the 13th day of April, lgl~8, determine to pave Eighteenth Avenue between Fe rry and ratterson
Street, in the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, and
VIHEREAS, the improvements above described and designated have been made in accordance
with said Urdinance and the law in such case made and provided, and the costs thereof and
amount to be assessed have been ascertained to be,

ti7HEREAS, notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed owners of the here-
inafter designated parcel of real property having been heretofore duly and regularly given and
in compliance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1510, passed by the Common Council of the
City of Eugene on the 20th day of April, 1911x, and approved by the Mayor thereof on the 20th
day of tipril, 191l~, and the Common Council having heard any and all protests, objections and
remonstrances thereto and having heard and fully considered the s~_~r1e.
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDA?~N AS FOLLOWS;
Section 1. That the total cost of paving Eighteenth kvenue betvreen Ferry and Patterson
Street, in the City of Eugene, is the sum of ~1~083.22, as aforesaid, vrhich is b y this Ordin-
ante assessed against the parcel of p~~operty hereinafter described in the amount set opposite,
respectively.
Section 2. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, does hereby determine
and assess each lot and part of lot being iri Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, to-wit:

Section 3. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene does hereby determine that
each parcel of land or lot hereinbefore described is specifically benefitted to the extent
of the assessment hereinbefore set forth, and does hereby declare each and all of said assess-
ments to be liens upon the respective lots, parts of lots or parcels of land against which
said several amounts are assessed, and orders and directs the City Recorder to enter in the
docket of City Liens a statement the reof containing:
First: A description of each lot, part of lot or acreage properly liable for such

improvement.
Second: The name of the o~raner or reputed owner the reof, or that the name of the owner
is unknotim.
Third; The sum assessed upon said property and the date of entering the same i.n the
