WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Eugene did by, Ordinance No. 9064, passed by the said Common Council on the 14th day of October, 1947, and approved by the Mayor thereof ~ on the 15th day of October, 1948, determine to pave Harris Place, in the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, and V'JHEREAS, the improvements above described and designated have been made in accordance with said ordinance and the law in such case made and provided, and the costs thereof and amount to be assessed have been ascertained to be, Amount paid contractor ~ 2264.25 - 5% Engineering charge 113.21 Amount Assessed $~ 2377.46 WHEREAS, notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed owners of the here- inafter desi gnated parcel of real property having been heretofore duly and regularly given and in compliance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1510, passed b y the Common Council of the City of Eugene on the 20th day of April, 1914, and approved by the Mayor the reof on the i ~ 20th day of April, 1914, and the Common Council having heard andy and all protests, objections and remonstrances thereto and having heard and fully considered the same. _ THE CITY OF EUGEPIE DOE5 ORDAITI AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene does hereby determine that ~I~ each parcel of land or lot hereinbefo re described is specifically benefitted to the extent of the assessment hereinbefore set forth, and does hereby declare each and all of said assess- ments to be liens upon the respective lots, parts of lots or parcels of land against which said several amounts are assessed, and orders and di sects the City Recorder to enter in the docket of City Liens a statement thereof containing: First: A description of each lot, part of lot or acreage properly liable for such improvement . Second: The same of the ovmer or reputed owner thereof, or that ,the name of the ovmer is unknown.
