WHERF,AS, the Common Council of the City of Eugene did by Ordinance No. 9056, passed by the said Common Council on the 8th day of ,September, 1917, and approved by the t~iayor thereof on the 9th day of September, 19l~7, determine to pave Fifteenth Avenue West between Lawrence and ~"lashington Street, in the City df Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, and WHEREAS, the improvements above described and designated have been made in accordance with said Ordinance and the larv in such case made and provided, and the costs thereof and amount to be assessed have been ascertained to be, Amount paid contractor ~31~85.61 5% Engineering Charge 171.28 Amount Assessed 93659.89 - ti91HEREAS, notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed owners of the herein- after designated parcel of real property having been heretofore duly and regularly given and in compliance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1510, passed b y the Common Council of the City of Eugene on the 20th day of April, 191J~, and approved by the Mayor thereof on the 20th day of April, 191l~, and the Co~non Council having heard any and all protests, objections and remonstrances thereto and having heard and fully considered the same. That the total cost of paving Fifteenth Avenue West between Lawrence and Wash- ington Street, in the City of Eugene, is 93,659.89, as aforesaid, which is by this Ordinance assessed against the parcel of property hereinafter described in the amount set opposite, re- spectively. Section 2. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, does hereby determine and assess each lot and part of lot being in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, to-wit: VYILLIAT~ A. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene does hereby determine that each parcel of land or lot he reinbefore described is specifically benefitted to the extent of the assessment hereinbefore set forth, and does hereby declare each and all of said assess- menu to be liens upon the respective lots, parts of lots or parcels of land against which said several amounts are assessed, and orders and directs the City Recorder to enter in the city docket of City Liens a statement thereof containing: First: A description of each lot, part of lot or acreage properly liable for such improve- ment. Second: The name of the owner or reputed owner thereof, or that the name of the owner is unkno~.:m.
