ORDINANCE 92l~3
An Ordinance levying assessment for the paving of Almaden Street from Seventh to Eighth
Avenue, in the pity of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon.
WHEREAS, the.Common Council of the City of Eugene did by Ordinance No. y130, passed by
the said Common Council on the 12th day of April, 1918, and approved by the Mayor thereof on
the 13th day of April, 1918, determine to pave Almaden Street from Seventh Avenue to Eighth
Avenue, in the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon and
WHEREAS, the improvements above described and designated have been made i.n accordance
with said Ordinance and the law in such case made and provided, and the costs thereof and
amount to be assessed have been ascertained to be,

5% Engineering Charge 263.28
Amount Assessed ~p5528.78
WHEREAS, notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed owners of the herein-
after designated parcel of real property having been heretofore duly and regularly given and
in compliance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1510, passed by the Common Council of the
City of Eugene on the 20th day of April, 191l~, and approved by the Mayor thereof on the 20th
day of April, 191l~, and the Common Council having heard any and all protests,•objections and
remonstrances thereto and having heard and fully considered the same.
THE CITY OF .EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOj"~(ra
Section 1. That the total cost of paving Almaden Street fran Seventh to Eighth Avenue,
in the City of Eugene, is X5,528.78, as aforesaid, vrhich is by this Ordinance assessed against
the parcel of property hereinafter described in the amount set opposite, respectively.
Section 2. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, does hereby deter-
mine and assess each lot and part of lot being in Eugene, bane County, Oregon, to-vrit:

Section 3. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene does hereby determine that
each parcel of land or lot hereinbefore described is specifically benefitted to the extent
of the assessment hereinbefore set forth, and does hereby declare each and all of said
assessments to be liens upon the respective lots, parts of lots or parcels of land against
~.~rhich said several amounts are assessed, and orders and directs the City Recorder to enter
in the City docket of City Liens a statement thereof containing:
First: A description of each lot, part of lot or. acreage properly liable for such

improvement .
Second: The name of the ovmer or reputed oVmer thereof, or that the name of the owner
is unknown.
Third; The sum assessed upon said property and the date of entering the same in the

said docket of City Liens.
