WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Eugene did by Ordinance No. 9229, passed by the said Common Council on the 27th day of September, and approved by the mayor on the 28th day of September, 1948 , determine to c ons true t a s anitary s evrer on the East side o f Wa shi ngton Street between Twentythird and `IYrentyfourth Avenue, in the City of EuE.ene, Lane County, Oregon, and 'WHEREAS, the improvements above described and designated have been made in accordance with said Ordinance and. the law in such case made and provided, and tree costs thereof and mount to be assessed have been ascertained to be, Amount paid contractor X969.00 5; Engineering Charge 48.45 Amount Assessed ~j1017.45 h~:EIEIZEAS, notice of the proposed as seesment to the owners and reputed ovrners of the here- inafter designated parcel of real pr.~operty having; been heretofore duly and regu]_arly given and in compliance with the provis ions of Ordinance P1o . 1510, passed by the Conunon Council of the City of Eugene on the 20th day of April, 1914, and approved by the i1Ta,yor thereof on the 20th day of April, 1914, and the Common Council having heard any and all protests, objections and remonstrances thereto and having heard and fully considered the same, THE CITY OF EU c,)i~tF~ DOF;S 0 RD1iI rd l'~S FOLLOWS Section 1. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene does hereby determine that 1 each parcel of lancz or lot hereinbefore described is specifically benefitted to the extent of the assessment hereinbefore set forth, and does hereby declare each and all of said assess- ments to be liens upon the respective lots, parts of lots or parcels of land against which said several amounts are assessed, and orders and directs the City Recorder to enter in the docket of City Liens a statement thereof containing: First: A description of e«ch lot, part of lot or acreage properly liable for such improvement. Second: The name of the ovmer or reputed owner thereof, or that the name of the owner is unknovm .
