VJI-iEREAS, the Common Council of the City of EuY;ene did by Ordinance Dlo. 9174, passed by the said Common Counci 1 on the 28th day of June, 1y1,8, and approved b;;~ the 1~iayor thereof on the Zyth dazT of June, 1y48 determine to construct a sanitary sevrer on the East side of Wash- ington Street from Tvrentyfourth Avenue to Tvrentyfifth Avenue, in the City of Eu~,ene, Lane County, Oregon, and V~(IIiEREAS, the improvements abo~ described and designated have been made in accordance with said Ordinance and. the lavr in such case made and provided, and the costs thereof and amount to be assessed have been ascertained to l:~e, Amount paid contractor ~ 2016.51 5~ Engineering Charge 100.83 1'unount Assessed ~ 2117.34 ti~THERF.AS, notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed owners of the hereinafter designated parcel of real property having ,been heretofore duly and regularly given and in compliance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1510, passed by the Common Council of the Cit,T of Eugene on the 20th day of April, Ig1L~, and approved by the Mayor thereof on the 20th day of April, 1911x., and the Common Council having heard any a.nd all pro- tests, objections and remonstrances thereto and having heard and fully considered the same, THE CITY OF IJ'UGENE DOES O1~DAIN AS FOLLOVIS: Section 1. That the total cost of constructing a sanitary sevrer on the East side of Washington Street from Twent~Tfourth Avenue to T~~rent,yfifth Ilz-enue in the City of EuE,ene is the sum of X2117.3!} as aforesaid, yvhich is by this Ordinance assessed against the parcel of pro- petty hereinafter described in the amount set opposite, respectively. Section 2. That the Common Council of the City of EuYfene, Oregon does hereby determine and assess each lot and part of lot being in EuC.~~ne, Lane County, Oregon, to-wit: G . E . That the Common Council of the City of Eugene does hereby determine that 1 each parcel of land or lot hereinbefore described is specifically benefitted to the extent of the assessment hereinbefore set forth, and does hereby declare each and all of said assess- ments to be liens upon the respective lots, parts of lots or parcels of land against which said several. amounts are assessed, and orders and directs the City fiscorder to enter in the docket of City Liens a statement thereof containing: First: A description of each lot, part of lot or acreage properly liable for such improvement . Second: The name of the olvner or reputed owner thereof, or that the name of the owner is unknown . Third: The sum assessed upon said propert5• and the date of entering the same in the '~ 1 said docket of City Liens .
