An Ordinance levying assessment for the paving of Y~Tashington Street from Nineteenth to
Twentyfourth Aven.i.ze, in the ~itv of Eug;E;ne, Lane County, Oregon.
Y~J~;T3EAS, the Common Council of. the Cit~r of Eu,rene did by Ordinance No. y1J~9, passed by
the said Common Council on the 10th day of N1ay, 1y48, and approved by the 'mayor thereof on the
11th day of Ma:1, 1948, determine to pave 'uVashington Street from Nineteenth to Tvrentyfourth
Avenue, in the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, and
ti~IHENl?AS, the improvement above described and designated have been made in accordance
with said Ordinance and the lavr in such case made and provided, and the cos is the reof and
amount to be assessed have been ascertained to be,

assessed against the parcel of property hereinafter described in the amount set opposite,
respectively.
Section 2 . That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, does hereby determine
and assess each lot and part of lot being in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, to-wit:

parcel of land or lot hereinbefore described is specifically benefitted to the extent of the
assessmen t h~reinbefore set forth, and does hereby declare each and all of said assessments
to be liens upon the respective lots, parts of lots or parcels of land against vrhich said
several amounts are assessed, and orders and directs the City Recorder to enter in the city
docket of City ~,:iens a statement thereof containing:
first: A description of each lot, part of lot or acreage properly liable for such im-
provement .
