The Common Colancil of the City of Eu~ e ne hereby initiates vacation pro- ceedings on its -o'r~4 atuthor~_ty vrithout petiiti on or consent of the property oumers, excepting as provided by statutes, of the following described property.; to-wit; Mill Street South of 24th Avenue in Driverton Addi_tim Ferr~,r Street South of 24th Avenue in Driverton Addition Patterson Street South of 24th Avenue in Driverton Addition Alley in Block 37 Driverton Addition Alley in Block 38 Driverton Addition Alley in Block 39 Driverton Additi~~n Secti~ 2. A hearing shall be held upon the proposal to vacate said premises as herein provided, and said hearing shall be held on the 28th day of March, 1949, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. of said da,y, at which time all persons vri_11 be heard upon objectiohs said or suggestions with reference to the vucati.on of said protion of said street and atntime fie Council-will provide for the vacation of said premises or cdeny such vacation, and in case the vacation i_s made vrill make provisions for any damages sustained by local assess- men t . Sueh notice s~nalZ give the description of the area to be vacated as herein set ol;t, and state the date when this ordinance eras passed; the name of any pe- tits -~ners p~ titioning for said vacation; the date when the said petition, together vrith an4T objections or remonstrances ti~zchmaybe made i.nvaritin~; and filed with the City Record- er prior to the dat e of said hearing, will be heard and considered. Section 4. The City Recorder shall forthvrith and within five days after the first Fn~.blicatirn of said notice, post or cause to be posted at or near each end of said pro- posed vacation, a copt~ of the foregoing notice, yin ich shall be headed ~~Plotice of Street Vacation~~ and which notice shall b e posted in at least two conspicuous places in such proposed vacation of such area.
