~.. WHEREAS, under the direction of the common council of the City of Eugene, the City Planning
Commission has prepared a tentative report and held hearings thereon and has adopted the tentative

report as their final and ~rmanent report and transmitted the same to the City Council with
recommendation that the sane. be enacted into an Ordn~ce.
NOW, THEREFORE ,THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FULLO~'~S:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 9188, entitled:
r~An Ordinance to create or divide the City into districts within score of which it shall !I
be lawful, and within otihers of -which it shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter, or
maintian certain t~uildings, or to carry on certain trades or calli ngs; to limit the height
and bulk of future buildings; to provide for setback lines, size of yards, and other open
spaces; to establish minimum lot sizes; to provide for automobile parking facillities; ~'
to provide for the enforcement, adjustment, and amendment thereof; and to prescribe I
..:.penalties for its violation in the City of Eugene, Oregon; and to repeal Of°dinance No. 8413 ,f
arri all amendments thereto, and Ordinances 6992, 8693, 8700.~r I~
Ea.ssed by the Common Council June 28, 1948, and ;approved by the Mayor June 29, 1948, be, and
the same is hereb~;~, amended in the following particulars;
That the classification of
Lot 2, 3, 6, and 7 in block 3 of Christians Addition. (Being the West one-half of block
3 between 12th ,Avenue and 13th Avenue on the East Side of Oak Street).
Be and the sane is hereby designated as C-3 Central Business District.
That t•1e Clas sificatirn of:
The Vilest 80 feet of Lot 7, block !~ of Chri.~tians Addition. (Being the Northeast corner of
13th and Pearl)
Be and the same is hereby designated as C-3 Central Business District.
That the classification of:
The area from Tyler Street to Polk Stree t between 13th Avenue and lsth Avenue .
Be and the same is hereby designated as R-1 single Family Rdsidential District.
Section 2. That the City Engineer be, and Yie is hereby, directed to cause the map attached
to Ordinance No. 9188 to shairt the foregoing change of classification of areas and to note theiE- II

on the rule with respect to building in the appropriate classification. !!~~
