Section l: That Ordinance `Jo. 9341, amassed by the Common Cou.nci7. of the City of Eugene I
on It~ay 9, 1949, and approved by the B~~ayor of the City of Eugene on ?14ay 10, ]_949, be, and the

same is hereby repealed. ~
Section 2. V'dhereas, Ordinance No. 9341 directed that ~ specia]_ election be held June
15, 1949, and that said elate of election is less than thirty days hence, there is hereby
declared to be an emergency and, therefore, that this ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage by the Common Council and its a~~proval by the Mayor of. the City of Eugene.
