An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 9186 of the City of Eugene, Entitled:
"An Ordinance to create or divide the City into districts within coke of which it sa
it shall be lawful, and tivithin others of which it shall be unlawful to erect, construct
alter or maintain certain buildings, or to carry on certain trades or callings; to
limit the height and bulk of future buildings; to provide for setback lines, size
of ,yard, a.nd other open spaces;: to establish minimum lot sizes; to provide for automobile
parking facilities; t~ provide for the enforcement, adjustment, and amendment thereof;
and to provide penalties for its violation in the City of Eugene, Oregon; and to repeal
Ordinance No. 81113 and all amendments thereto, and Ordinances 6992, 8693, 8700",
passed by the Common Council June 28, 1918, and approved bar the Ma:~ror, June 29, 19118.
WHE&EAS, under the direction of the Common Council of the City of Eugene, The City

Planning Commission has pre pared a tentative report and held hearings thereon and has adopted
the tentative report as theirfinal and permanent report and transmitted the same to the
City Council with recommendation that the same be enacted mnto an Ordinance, However, the
Comm:an Council voted not to follow said recommendation;

Section ~.. That Ordinance No. 9188, entitled:
"An Ordinance to c reate or divide the City into Districts within some or which it
shall be lawful, and within others of which it shall be unlawful to erect; construct
alter, or maintain certain buildings, or to carry .gin certain trades or ca-~._ings, to
limit the height and bulk of future buildings; to provide for setback lines, size
of ,yards, and other open spaces; to establish minimur;-~lot sizes; to provide for
automobile parking facilities; to provide for the enforcement, adjustment and amendment
thereof; and to prescribe penalties for its violation in the City of Eugene, Oregon;
and to repeal Ordinance No. 81113 and all amendments thereto, and Ordinances 6,92,
8693, 8700."
Passed by the Common Council June 28, 19118, and approved by the Mayor June 29,19k8,
be and the same is hereby amended in the following particulars;
That the Classification of:
Lot 1 and Lot 10, Bloock 2 Joan addition
Lot 1 and Lot 10, Block 3 Joan Addition
Properly located on the sest side of Friendly Street from 16th
Avenue to approximately 1112 feet south of 17th Avenue.
Be and the same is hereby designated as R-1 Single Family Resielential.
Section 2. That the City Engineer be, and he ~is hereby directed to cause the maA
attached to Ordinance No. 91~'~8 to shr,w the foregoing change of classification of areas and
to note thereon the rule with respect to b~.iilding in the a^-~ropriate classification.
