WORK SESSION: Joint Meeting with Lane Transit District Board of Directors Council President: I move to direct the City Manager to coordinate the process with LTD and the Eugene Planning Commission to recommend a corridor for study, and that the Planning Commission’s recommendation be brought back to the Eugene City Council Agenda: June 12, 2006 L:\CMO\2006 Council Agendas\M060612\A060612S.doc City Council and LTD Board for a final decision. The Planning Commission is encouraged to include a public involvement component in its deliberations. Roll Call Vote 7:30 P.M. CITY COUNCIL MEETING and MEETING OF THE EUGENE URBAN RENEWAL DISTRICT Council Chamber, City Hall 1.PUBLIC FORUM Mayor: The Public Forum is an opportunity for individuals to speak to the City Council on any city-related issues except for those items which have already been heard by a Hearings Official or are on tonight’s agenda as a public hearing. Each person will have three minutes to speak. Please give your name and address when you come to the podium. The timer and lights indicate the time you have to speak. A yellow light will come on when you have 15 seconds to complete your comments. The red light indicates the end of three minutes. Roll Call Vote The Mayor adjourns the meeting of the Eugene Urban Renewal Agency and reconvenes the meeting of the Eugene City Council. 6. PUBLIC HEARING and ACTION: Resolution 4877 Adopting a Supplemental Budget; Making Appropriations for the City of Eugene for the Fiscal Year Beginning July 1, 2005, and Ending June 30, 2006 Manager: Introduces topic, presents background information. Roll Call Vote 9.ACTION: An Ordinance Concerning Stormwater Provisions; Amending Sections 9.0500, 9.6420, 9.8030, 9.8055, 9.8090, 9.8100, 9.8215, 9.8220, 9.8320, 9.8325, 9.8440, 9.8445, 9.8515, and 9.8520 of the Eugene Code, 1971; Repealing Section 9.6520 of that Code; Adding Sections 9.6790, 9.6791, 9.6792, 9.6793, 9.6794, 9.6795, 9.6796, and 9.6797 to that Code; and Providing an Effective Date Eugene City Council Agenda: June 12, 2006 L:\CMO\2006 Council Agendas\M060612\A060612S.doc City Council President: I move toamend the proposed ordinance 9.6792(2)(a) 3 to read “A partition – tentative plan (EC 9.8215 or 9.8220)” and 9.6793 (2) (a) 3 to read “A partition – tentative plan (EC 9.8215 or 9.8220).” Roll Call Vote City Council President: I move that the City Council adopt Council Bill 4922, and ordinance concerning stormwater provisions.
