AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING COLLECTION OF YARD
DEBRIS AND AMENDING SECTION 3.270 OF THE EUGENE
CODE, 1971.
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Subsection (e) of Section 3.270 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is amended to provide:
3.270 Solid Waste and Recycling - Licensee Responsibility. In addition to the requirements
of section 3.041, each licensee shall:
(e) Provide bi-weekly curbside collection of yard debris to residential
customers consistent with the standards, exemptions, schedule and rates established
by administrative rule of the city manager. The initial collection rate for yard debris
shall be no greater than $3.50 per month and shall not exceed $3.50 per month until
January 2003.
Section 2. The City Recorder, at the request of, or with the concurrence of the City Attorney,
is authorized to administratively correct any reference errors contained herein or in other provisions
of the Eugene Code, 1971, to the provisions added, amended or repealed herein.
