HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 4605 RESOLUTION NO. 4605 A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING APPLICATION FOR AN OREGON BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT FUND LOAN BY SHEPARD VRIJMOET ENTERPRISES, LLC The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that: A. The Eugene City Council finds that the development of the Co-Motion Cycles building by Shepard Vrijmoet Enterprises, LLC, would assist an existing locally owned small business in Eugene. B. ORS 285B.059 requires, before the approval of an Oregon Business Development Fund project by the State of Oregon, that the governing body of the appropriate local government recommend the project, and C. The City Council finds that the Project is consistent with all applicable adopted local plans, and D. The City Council finds that the completion of the Co-Motion Cycles building would be in the best interests of the citizens of Eugene. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, a Municipal Corporation of the State of Oregon, as follows: Section 1. The City of Eugene requests the Oregon Economic Development Commission to assist in the financing of the Project within the City of Eugene, through the Oregon Business Development Fund.
