Implementation Strategies for Sustainable Business Initiative
City Council President:
I move to direct the City Manager to place
the proposed resolution publicly commi tting the City of Eugene to
sustainable practices and to businesses that produce sustainable
products and services on an upcoming Consent Calendar.

I move to accept the SBI report as
presented to the City Council on September 25, 2006.

council goals session.

prepare an ordinance to create a sustainability commission as a
standing committee advisory to the City Council.

prepare a budget proposal to implement the recommendations of the
SBI in the City Manager’s proposed FY08 budget.

Review of Responses to the 10 & Charnelton Request for
Proposals
Urban Renewal Agency President:
I move to direct the Agency
Director to enter into a 90-day exclusive negotiation period with TK
th
Partners for the sale and development of the 10 & Charnelton
development site, and to return to the City Council, acting as the
Urban Renewal Agency, with the proposed terms of the sale and
development following the negotiation period.
